This is a custom built tug by C. Powers in Newburyport, MA in 1966. Has been in service on the Merrimack River by the same yacht yard/marina since it was built. Solid hand laid rugged figerglass hull with new awl grip in 2011. Powered by a FWC 135 hp Ford Lehman diesel with 1.5 to 1 hurth gear, 3 blade prop, keel coolers, and spare wheel.
Well proportioned/designed which makes it highly maneuverable and a head turner. No head or sleeping accomodation--all engine!
